Evil Update

I hope everyone's keeping up with the latest shenanigans at Darpa:
This is pure EVIL. Imagine a government sponsored futures market where
really rich guys can place bets on world political events. Good old John
Poindexter.

Bush has said he wanted to run the government like a business...lord knows,
it seems his business model is Enron.

I may not have predicted this particular bizarre turn of events in my
recently published comic book, but I do have the pentagon building a
computerized version of Ken Lay's brain, which is in essence what Darpa has
done. They've created a new computerized Enron style derivatives market
based on intangibles (Enron pioneered trading in derivatives in which people
predict the weather ).
And a month ago, Rumsfeld okayed the use of Enron like off shore entities as
part of the big Boeing lease deal.
